Introduction

Welcome to the Internet Video Archive API!

The Internet Video Archive APIs and Tools enable you to integrate Internet Video Archive's video content and functionality into your website, software application, or device.

Whether you're looking for the latest theatrical releases, the hottest music videos, or even cutting edge video game releases, Internet Video Archive has the video content and meta data that you need.

The Data API is a combination of editorially updated feeds and queryable APIs that, put simply, allow you to retrieve meta data pertaining to our massive collection of previews. This is including, but not limited to photo stills, performers, copyright holders and much more.

The Player API is our answer to those of you wishing to embed our player into your website, but also have the ability to control basic appearance and functionality, and create the ideal user experience for your customers and visitors alike. Almost always, the Player API will be used in combination with our Data API to create a complete product for your website. Even if you have no interest, or are unfamiliar with XML and using a server-side scripting language, the Player API can be used stand-alone at a much more basic level to play specific previews on your blog, social website, or any other place where you can embed a flash player.
